Nocturnals Disbanding.
Everything that has a being has an end. 20-06-2008

After months.. Years of struggeling to keep the guild called Nocturnals up and running, i decided together with a few other people to give Nocturnals its finishing blow. As most of you must have noticed, Nocturnals slumbers and only wakes and comes back to its positives every now and then just to leave behind an even bigger disappointment when our expectations don't become true.

Nocturnals is on its deathbed, its glory has been short and comes from another era, called pre TBC. The guild's last breath has come, and Nocturnals will be left in peace, all that will remain is alot of good memory's and a big pile of ashes, as an ode to "what once was".
As guildleader of Nocturnals i gave up alot of my time, alot of my life and even my old home, i seriously love this guild and alot of the people in it, but ive been aiming too much to make it to "what once was" instead of making the best of "what is". As guildleader i made alot of mistakes and one of them was living in the past, but in our life nothing will remain and everything changes no matter if we want it or not. As result i made the decision to let Nocturnals breath its last breath, like i'm supposed to. It has been begging to be left alone, left in peace for ages and the time has now come.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust... As everyone knows, the circle of life is perfect and what once was will be once again, though not always in the same form, time or space.
Nocturnals death blew life in something new.
We all know that World of Warcraft is lurking in the dark corners of our mind and will overwhelm you once it catches you off guard. And as most people know, a leader can not be led, so from the remains of Nocturnals a new guild will get birth, the name will be: "From the ashes"

Since summervacation is knocking on our door and Wrath of the Lich King wont take long anymore either, FtA wont recruit and has no raidingscedule. The only aim we have is to raid karazhan once every week just to get some badges.
Once WotLK comes out we will call out our Nocturnal spirit and hit L80 in no-time so we can start recruiting straight away and be inside the instances as one of the first guilds on Frostwhisper.
So, besides a namechange and a break through summer and up till WotLK nothing will change apart from our progress in end game instances!
If you still have the Nocturnal spirit inside you and share our thought, you are very welcome to join From the Ashes! Just whisper me (Kaluma/Neveah/Xyris) or Vrk/Venrakee. ingame and From the ashes will gladly take you under its wings!

Since i didnt do this all alone, i want to give a special thanks to:

  • Vrk -General- that never left Nocturnals side no matter what!
  • Sitromis, Asbaq and Ico who continued staying classleaders though good and bad.
  • Lahoc and Celdano, the only Pre TBC Nocturnal members in the guild that still are here.
  • And all the members/trials that still are here and hopefully will join us in resurrected Nocturnals.

Two SSC Bossers go DOWN! 21-04-2008

Zul'Aman CLEARED!!!! 12-04-2008

Today Nocturnals layed waste to Zul'jin in Zul'Aman adding yet another Instance to our farm list. Great job to all the following who attended the raid:

<GM>In Karahzan 11-01-2008.

Today a <GM> named Shuishakh payed Nocturnals a kind Visit while we where raiding Karazan and even helped up Clear some trash mobs. You can find more information on the encounter <Here>

Nalorak (Zul'Aman) Down!

Patch 3.0.0, Zul'Aman opened its gates, a new road to walk for Nocturnals! After clearing Karahzan in 6 hours time we went to Zul'Aman in order to have a little check on it. Curiosity pulled us towards the amazing forests that are controlled by the Trolls. We were suspicious about downing bosses out there, since we were not supposed to enter the domain of the trolls before we properly had Gruul under controll. Still the soothing aura lured us through Zul'Aman's gates. What lied behing was beyond our imagination. An amazing forest, filled with Troll scum! How could that be possible!

Filled with fury and an amazing group spirit we fought our way up till our first encounter. Nalorak! Nalorak beated the shit out of us, but after 5 hours of whiping we finaly got Nalorak on his knees, begging for his life! But Nocturnals doesnt give mercy to those that stand in our way! We gave him the final blow and his last breath filled us all with joy! Our first marks in Zul'Aman wont be forgotten easaly, and we will continue leaving a path of destruction in the amazing forest, taking away a threat beyond imagination! Leaving behind the skulls of those who dared to encounter us. Nocturnals will come...
